Jessica completed her primary undergraduate degree at Colgate University where she majored in Behavioral Neuroscience. She worked for several years in the department of Medical Psychology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, assisting with research on the cognitive and neurological sequela of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and addiction. After this, she attended Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, earning a BSN in 2011. She then worked as an RN in medical/surgical organ transplant at University of Maryland Medical Center. She graduated from University of Maryland School of Nursing in 2014 with an MSN and focus in Adult and Gerontological Primary Care. After graduation, she worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Maryland Pain Specialists. There she developed an interest in cannabis as medical therapy due to its safety profile and ability to impact multiple pathways involved in chronic pain and associated medical concerns.
Our clinic was established to provide quality treatment with compassion and convenience. Our mission is to provide an alternative, natural way of healing and symptom management while minimizing traditional pharmaceuticals.
We will educate you about the potential benefit of cannabis for your condition and guide you through your options. Before you leave we make sure that you are comfortable with your treatment plan and know how to follow up if and when needed for adjustments to this plan.
In order to provide our patients with the highest level of care, our goal is to create a treatment plan that will best suit your needs.

Qualifying medical conditions include cachexia, anorexia, wasting syndrome, severe or chronic pain, severe nausea, seizures, severe or persistent muscle spasms, glaucoma, PTSD, or another chronic medical condition which is severe and for which other treatments have been ineffective. Please see https://mmcc.maryland.gov/Pages/home.aspx for more information.
Do you or your loved one meet the criteria for medical cannabis use in Maryland? Go to https://mmcc.maryland.gov/Pages/home.aspxand and create a patient or caregiver account. The MMCC will then review and approve your application, and issue you a registration number. This is good for two years.
After you have submitted an application to the MMCC, you should schedule an appointment for an in person medical cannabis evaluation with a certifying provider. You do not need your ID number to schedule.
First we will review your medical history, reason for seeking care, supporting documentation, current symptoms related to the condition, and perform an exam if necessary. Next we will discuss how cannabis works in the body, the difference between THC and CBD, and possible methods of administration. If we decide that medical cannabis is advised and appropriate for your condition, we will discuss an individualized treatment plan for you and when to follow up.
Cash or credit card is accepted.
